About Karen Conley
I am a multi-media artist living in southern New Mexico. When I started making art I was only interested in fine art photography and then I started painting. I love working with oil and will continue to experiment with other mediums like pastels. I grew up in western Pennsylvania, moved to New Mexico, joined the Army, and finally moved back to New Mexico. Even though I left Pennsylvania a long time ago I am still influenced by my memories of growing up there when we still had cold winters, large family gatherings, and everyone in town knew everyone.
